.mobi A problem when registering with whiz.in

I just tried registering a couple of .mobi domain names with whiz.in after I read somewhere in the forums here that they have good services and cheap prices. Their system allowed me to register these .mobi for 1 year(which I found weird). But I haven't received any confirmation email...it has been more than an hour now...and the names are still available!!!

Does the whiz.in NPer here? Can someone help?

I do use whiz.in, never had a problem...
log back in to your account and see if you
have any pending actions.
check to see your payment has completed as well.

i tried registering again with for 2 years instead of 1 year, but I didn't get any confirmation email either...anyone had similar problems with whiz.in?
I have sufficient funds in my account.

Ok, I just got a confirmation email. I wish they sent an email the first time explaining that i need to register for two years, or it won't work.

Yes, contact NP member TK here. He will gladly help you, and solve your problem.

Ps- You can verify yourself. Go to "Domains", in the top left corner, clcik on "list last 10". If your domains were regged, you can see them, and verify here.

I've been having trouble at website.in as well. They said the problem is with the .mobi registry. Maybe they were pulling my leg because whiz.in and website.in are both subs for the same company, Directi I think.

I have well over 100 .mobi names with whiz.in. I think they are the BEST choice for .mobi hands down. The navigation is a little hard to get used to at first, but the price can't be beat and the CS is outstanding. I called once because I was having a hard time logging in, they said to use a back door addy and I got in right away.

Some times the registry gets a little lagged or overloaded. I think its all of us here at NP lol

There is an automatic 2 year reg for names at whiz. You do not need to change the selection. It might just be the navigation is not what you are used to. You have to fund the account and use the funds like a debit card. Then u have to select to use the funds to pay for the name and then u have to verify that you want to use those funds. I like it this way. It gives me time to triple check spelling when I get on a reg-roll lmao.

Is there a bulk DNS manager? I want to change the DNS to point to namedrive, and it's kind of very obscure to me right now. I bought the DNS manager for each of them (again, i did it for each, i wish there was a bulk buy DNS for all selected type of feature), but I am having some trouble changing the DNS.

I just saw this thread. you can do lot of bulk actions on whiz.in including the bulk dns change. goto domain>>bulk actions>>bulk modify.

Website.in is owned by directi and there maybe problem with .mobi registry... it cleared itself after sometime so you got the email little late.

Logon to your account, goto domain >> bulk actions >> bulk modify...

Enter the domain names or search ,

On next screen you can mention the nameservers..

Send email to [email protected] if you have more questions, i will be glad to assist you.

Domain parking is not dependent on TLD to best of my knowledge, so I would say yes.

i do have a .mobi parked at sedo because they have the infrastructure for it as does godaddy but i would prefer namedrive, i just didn't think they were doing .mobi
