A new Domaining resource - ExpireDN

I just wanted to let Namepros members know about a new domaining resource that's out - ExpireDN.com

ExpireDN is a collaboration between two namepro-ers, and has the blessing of Freshdrop.net (which makes its searches of Godaddy's auctions possible).

It's run by a guy with great knowledge about finding Geos, traffic names, and selling his names, and who helped test some of the various metrics you get at Freshdrop with a premium account. He goes through the Freshdrop names every day and picks out some of the gems. I do the design, and basically keep the site side on track.

Mainly these are from the $5 closeout bins, but there are occasional reg fee names, and other goodies.

There's a newsletter you'll be able to sign up for soon too, so the names come early straight to your email.

I've already picked up some great generics - it's good for highly searched terms, Geos, and brandables. It certainly cuts down on some time for me.

It's early days, but we'd love to see what NPers think at this stage, before the site is officially launched.

I am running ExpireDN.com with Andy. We aim to provide a "best of" domain list for our visitors every single day.

We have 2 main goals for ExpireDN.com. First, to help domainers sort through the clutter and find some of the better, affordable names out there. Our lists will stick pretty much to the Godaddy Firesale Bin, where all names are $5, plus one year reg fee to Godaddy. Hopefully, by providing some of the better names available, people can use these as a benchmark as well. This is what is available for $5. Is the name you are looking at better or worse? Our second goal is to show people the power of Freshdrop.net. 100% of the names featured on ExpireDN.com will be found using Freshdrop.net. While it may seem like we are listing a lot, we are barely scratching the surface. Many of the best names on TDNAM/Auctions.Godaddy will never make it to the $5 bin. You will need to check Freshdrop to find these names, as well as all of the good names at Snap and Namejet, and the various other auction houses.

Looking through the lists, it's amazing what's being left these days. I'm not sure if it's the tools to find them are getting better - or it's a buyers' market (or both)
