I have taken a theme for the script which runs the website and edited it a bit. Before I found it to be a bit plain for my taste: http://www.velnetdesigns.com/lbsthemes/manic.png (Looks like Windows 98 Folders or something.)

There were also a couple of errors which I fixed and improved on and I have now stopped modifying the template (Finally).

I'm just looking for some opinions & reviews and will gladly give positive reputation to anyone who gives a review of the site (If you just say "Great Site!" or something similarly ridiculous, don't expect a rep from me ;) )

P.S. It's a bit green :)

For a link directory that's actually not even half bad. Even though you're right, it's indeed a bit on the green side, it's not overloaded in green. However, the site as a whole looks a bit too "light", maybe consider a darker backdrop. (this may just really be my visual perception) The placement of the search box is a bit of an eye sore, it not overpowering the actual logo design, yet still a bit too dominant.
The thumbnails upon mouse over on the links are a good idea, the Favicon is a bit out of the box of conventional icons, making it stand out all the more - good job there.
The only real suggestion that i have for you is on a financial platform. i understand that it's about the bottom line, however, if your directory is empty, or has less than 5 links on a page, i'd be less compelled to hand over $2 to get listed, however, if the site had enough links per category that i'd be on page 2, i'd be more interested in paying and amount $x to get my name on the first page.... (food for thought)

Not bad of a job overall, though!

I agree that the colors are a little light, but the organization is pretty decent. I also like the snapshots for link hovers.

@IntelBank:

It's only been up two days, I can't expect miracles ;)

About the search box, I was thinking of moving that. I have left it in its original template position for the moment. My plan is to put the search box on top of the "Top Bid" text and move those both in slightly. I'm wondering if there would be too much white space though. Having said that, I don't mind making the logo bigger; there's room to expand it then atleast.

The favicon was done in paint! I always try to create them in such a small space when I suppose I should really just start with a big picture and make it smaller ;).

Thank you for your kind words, they will prove helpful :)

@Simplistic:

Thank you for your kind words :) The mouse-over Snapshots are actually part of the script and have nothing to do with me, though I do agree, they are an excellent idea.

+Rep for both of you!

OK, an update:

I have made the logo bigger which has made the search box and "Top Bid" look nicer now I feel. However, I think these should be centrally aligned between the right-hand column and the logo. Too tired to do it right now :P
