domain A four letter.com

Hey all,

I have a four letter .com that I am think about selling. The letters are irrelevant to one another and the website subject matter. But the letters are a typo of the word "bust". The site gets 100 uniques per day and is currently rising. It produces probably $85 in revenue per month at least, and again, is currently rising. It is a finance website but its only one page. The site ranks on page 2 for its subject matter in google, and page 1 for Yahoo and Msn along with several other engines. The hits come from 85% search engines, 10% from a couple other of my sites that link to it and >5% direct type-ins (i guess from typo of bust?). The site ranks above the actual company its about on msn and a couple yahoo searches ie ******* scam and ******* review.

I am looking to see both a conservative and liberal asking price for this domain. I bought it for 4 dollars from a guy trying to dump it along with some others and developed it myself.

Wow....!
If revenue is rising and is true revenue u can look at asking for a minimum price of 36 Months of revenue for the domain.
I would say 36 is the minimum if its in the increase, maybe even more.

P.S : All this considering there wudnt be TM issues,etc ... coz typos of big companies generally are risky.

I'd need a name to give it good apprasial but if you can get the acyronym to stand for somehting it'd be really good for you from a resale standpoint

I agree that I could ask for 3k but i wouldnt expect to get it. I think that there is probably a stigma against a four letter .com, but i wouldnt sell it for less than what it will make me over the next years.

I do think that if it stood for something it might increase the price.
