I bought it from NameCheap.
I don't know whether or not to Park it or turn it into something I have some ideas.

Can you unpark it anytime you want?
Does it cost anything for a parked account?
Where would I turn it into something?
I need free hosting, so I went here:
http://freedns.afraid.org
It says my site is broken? What does this mean.

if it has traffic on it, park it, if newly registered then develop it.
yes you can unpark it anytime you want since you control the dns changes.
free parking companies are sedo.com, and namedrive.com and others
you need a script for it or someone to develop it for you usually a forum or a blog.
