A domain transaction at GD Auctions(?)

Hello!

Im a first time seller at Godaddy auctions. I have sold a domain name and have received payment.
I guess my domain name now has to be transferred to the buyer. Since this is through GD I dont know how to reach the buyer.
So: Where to send the authorization code for the domain?
What is the procedure here?

After the payment has been verified (generally takes 5 days), you can send the buyer via GoDaddy's system the authorization code (not directly, but there is a button that allows you to send the buyer the information). You might also have to send the buyer the Transaction ID and Security Code (if you have received this information from GoDaddy).

count 7 days (to be sure) from payment date (not sale date).. then go to your sold section and you will see email button appear. it won't be there before.

all this assuming of course his payment clears.

expect payment around 22-23 days from the PAID date. assuming he begins and ends transfer duiring that time

their support is great. expect reply 24-48 hours usually.

Where is this domain, at GD or different registrar?

Suggest you send an email to [email protected] they can provide details specific to your case.

First check if you got an email from GD with subject such as "Domain Transfer Authorization"
"
We are pleased to inform you that we received the proceeds from the sale of *.com.

You are now authorized to accept the transfer request of *.com.
You will need to contact the buyer through the email buyer link in your "Sold" section.
If you need to access your account, go to GoDaddy Auctions and log in with your user name (or customer number) and password."

Quite amazing by the way. You are a member since May 2005 and have never sold a domain via GoDaddy in 13 years. That must be a record.
