I had this very strange and crazy idea and i tried it and it seemed to be working for a while but then I thought it would have been illegal so I stopped and wanted some opinions.

I have a site that has over 1000 indexed pages in google and about 200 backlinks..

I get decent 300/350 visitors a day. However my site is located at www.mysites.com/mysite/

Initially I had a index.php located at www.mysite.com/index.php which simply redirected the homepage to www.mysite.com/mysite/

When I joined parked.com I checked out the ways to park my site. One of the ways that they have is to redirect you domain.Say www.parked.com/redirect.php?=mysite.com

So what i did was eventually removed the index.php in www.mysite.com and created a redirection to parked.com's parked pages.

What that means is If a visitor comes through a link then he goes to www.mysite.com/mysite/ but if he types the name in www.mysite.com he is no more redirected but goes to the parking page. So my traffic divided into 50 % going to parked pages and 50 % going to main site. I earned some good bucks on parked.com initially but then thought I should consult others before continuing.

Now the question is is it illegal ? If yes reasons ! If no should I continue ?

I'm not sure if its allowed or not. Probably a question for your account representative. I have heard of people redirecting only traffic from certain demographics by ip. For example if your site is targeted to north american traffic it could be setup to detect the ip and direct anyone who isn't from north america to a parking site.

It may get you booted out of googles index though. google has some rule about making sure the search engine sees the same page as your sites visitors.

I asked this question of my parked.com rep a few weeks ago, and he advised that it was not allowed to redirect individual pages, that the entire domain must be parked on their service.
