Yes, you read it correctly. The domain name PlayStation4.com is available to purchase. For all you worriers out there exclaiming "tm", Sony have not contacted myself nor the former owner over the 10 years it has been registered.
The domain name already gets around 100 uniques a day and could easily be well converted. No question it's a bit of a risk, but it could be a HUGE earner. If Sony decides not to call their next system PlayStation 4, paradoxically, you'll be rich! People will always speculate on the name as playstation4.com (hence getting incredibly type-in traffic) even if Sony knows internally that it will not be its name. This one will have traffic for many years to come. Even if Sony do come in for it, it is unlikely to be within the next 3 years.
Somebody could monetize this superbly. And it's available at a very competitive reseller price! The price is NOT NEGOTIABLE. It's already a steal and represents a fantastic buy. Sure, it's a slight risk, but if you can afford to take it, you could well be laughing all the way to the bank.
