Hi !

I´ve one domain name in mind, wich is free and one word .com . But it has an disadvantage - it is 9 letters long. Although i think it´s quite good memorable and brandable. I cannot tell the name of it because i will be owner tomorrow (at least i hope so :) )

But can you tell me how much in average is worth of 9 letter one word .com domains?

Thanks !

It all depends on the keyword to be honest. I wouldnt worry about the length nine char is fine imo. I typically try to stick with domains no longer than 12-15 chars but that is just my way of thinking. :)

To be honest - this domainname isn´t about Keyword. This won´t be high, but its brandable IMHO.

If its based on being brandable but doesnt have a website then the value will be A LOT less.

It will cost you $7-$10 to take risk. Dont waste time, if you think it is memorable and brandable go get it.

If it is memorable and brandable it will give you your money back atleast.

Just buy it.

I totally agree with my friend above. Just buy it, before someone else does. In fact, if this type of thing is of interest to you, go on the hunt for one word domain names, and, if you have a gut feeling that they are good, go with it. You can always try solicit the opinion of close people to you, rather then bouncing names of us vultures.

Enjoy

Register it at Dynadot.com, then tell us what it is, and if it turns out to be awful you can just delete it and get your money back.

I hope later today or tomorrow it will be mine. I think it will be worth those 20 $ . Do you think if it´s morally acceptable to offer it to sell then? I know some people don´t like this kind of speculations, but i already have three projects and i need some cash to improve them. That´s why i´m finding other sources of income :hehe:

I hope it will be worthy at least 50 $ for somebody....

Ive moved this to Domain Discussion. The Domain must be posted in order for it to in the Appraisal section.

Morally acceptable? That depends on how you think of it I guess. Many people do business on this forum and that means buying one name one day for a smaller amount of money than what they can sell it for the next day, month, year etc.. Myself (like most here IMO) don't like buying domains that I don't think are immediately worth more than what I pay. If you can buy one for $10 one day then unload it for $100 the next more power to you! Good luck!

As far as the 9L question, it totally depends on the name, niche, etc..

Good Luck!

9 letters doesn't matter. Whether the name makes sense is the requirement.

All depends on the word. Reg it with Dynadot then ask for an appraisal on the name. If no good, refund for a credit to your account.

So registered already, its name is : stroncium.com

What do you think about it? It could mean everything or nothing. But its memorable, isn´t it? But it definitely don´t include any keyword.

What are your opinions?
