I see these all the time. But they are artificial values. Domain names were never meant to be art like collectibles. This bubble will burst. In its prime, few people dared question the real estate market. At least there, it was a market place of practical use.

all chinese i i have in my phone agend have a special phone numbers.
they live with it.
all of them have a lot of 8 or 9 or 6 and sequence.
these kind of numbers is for sell and they buy them.
numeric domain always will have value.

Well, I am happy for you. I am not saying those who have NNNNNNNNNNNN should not be making money as long as times are good. I am questioning the value of these names for practical use besides a few, and market sentiments which has gained a herd mentality. The cliff isn't far away.

The only problem I see is that they are incomplete: good in Shanghai, missing area code for use from everywhere else.

China is huge and had different dialects, beliefs, superstitions etc.
Number 2 f.e. is good in the South, not good in the North.
Number 4 has many positive aspects
