The new weekly domain sales report is out DNJournal.com. The top sale was a $1.25 million dollar deal that ranks as one of the top five sales reported so far in 2007. We also saw the year's second highest .net sale at $200,000. A Sedo press release reported a pair of six-figure .co.uk sales this week including one that will rank as the highest ever for Great Britain's ccTLD but completion of those transfers were not confirmed in time for this report. We expect to chart those next week. Even so, another .co.uk domain grabbed the #1 spot on our Country Code chart. You can get all of the details on this week's sales here: http://www.dnjournal.com/domainsales.htm

Hello Ron, thank you as always.

You did not answer to y reply last week....I`ll try again:

I have a request this time:

The past week, there have been 2 sellouts , 1 of them was massive and a big step in domain history: the L-L-L.com and the BIG sellout of all 456,976 LLLL.com

I`d love to see you covering these special events.

Thank you.

Actually I also have a question regarding the weekly biggest sale:

if VistaPrint already held the mark for use of the word "Vista" in connection with printing services, why then they paid more than $1 Million for it instead of trying the legal way?

I believe the answer is because it was too vague of a term, oddly enough. With all the TM variations of Vista it could switch hands 20 times if legal action could be placed on Vista.

Thanks,
Ty Maier
