$60 logo comp

Hi,

First off let me say thankyou to every one who took part in the last comp. In the last comp we got some good logos but none that we wanted for the winner. We will be buying up a few of the logos only when we have picked a winner from this new comp for the new $60 price.

We would like the logo to be very humorus nothing realy over the top but at the same time funny .Need any more info please pm me.

Ill take a chance with it. Its not 100% i will take it as i am still waiting for logos from here.

"Taking a chance" with a potentially copyrighted piece of clipArt is not a good thing to do!! Also, since I found it on Microsoft Word, it is possible that some in-house designers over at Microsoft created it and I don't think you'd have a chance in a lawsuit against Microsoft (no offence)

I'm not saying it will cause problems, but it could. Business is about making everything as safe as possible given the situation.

If anything, Danny would be in trouble first, because he's the seller. If he at least understands anything about international copyright infringment, he would have the mind not to sell this for commercial purposes.

You have lost thanks for taking the time and entering the comp. No matter what you post i am not going to change my mind. I am not intrested in your design at all yes it is nice but not what we are looking for. Anything to do with the logos please pm me now on.

Will7 and I are simply trying to warn you about the dangers of using such a logo.

Sorry if you took it in a negative way, but usually people here take these things seriously about copyright, that's why I thought I should tell you.

polurNET, yes, Danny would be in trouble first (as the designer). But, Argos could be in trouble too because he had knowledge of the infringement (from polurNET and myself).

Ah well, I guess Argos doesn't take copyright issues seriously - until it happens to him. People learn from their mistakes I suppose.

Ok is the image copyright ? who knows and i dont care . Thanks for you input here but please stop posting i am ok dont worry about me. I have made my mind up that i only like his logo end of story.

I'd say that the quote from polurNET and the fact that its from Microsoft Word to mean that the image is copyrighted. But, you don't care, so fine. Its your own fault if you get stung !!
