$60 logo comp

Hi,

First off let me say thankyou to every one who took part in the last comp. In the last comp we got some good logos but none that we wanted for the winner. We will be buying up a few of the logos only when we have picked a winner from this new comp for the new $60 price.

Of course another site will be using it! Its ClipArt, there are no rules that say you can't. Don't tell me it isn't ClipArt either, I have seen it on MS Word and I think I have it on a CD too.

never realize that...i've never used clipart for any of my logo's before....

it's not "Normal" to use clipart if somebody is payingfor a logo..they deserve something custom...one and only...

headers and banners however is diff...we can use pics..stock photo's for headers/banners


but not logo..:D

Hi Argos,

I will for sure work on the whole set, but can you extend it until the end of tomorrow? Meeting the deadline is especially tough this week, but I will try as fast (but as good) as I can.

PS: Our logos are NEVER from clipart, but some elements may come from stock image sites that we paid for, or stock icon sets either we or others developed and which we licensed

Ey Polurnet and all other people who use those characters/cartoons in other people's logos.Eum are those made by you or not?If not , then the people who'll use thos logos will get trouble right?

We have full rights and license to use all our graphic elements, including both characters we have used so far. They were partly developed by our own design team for our use, so there is no 3rd party copyright issues. Thus, this is not like using clipart libraries or elements found on the internet which is not your own work for commercial purposes > that may create a lot of trouble

I sent you a reply last night stating that it would be 1 or 2 days. The winner so far before we get the rest in is OurPortfolio we have reinstated his logo as we feel it is by far the best. Not to say any of the work was not great his is just what we are looking for.

But if he used clipart (which could have copyright and royalty issues, esp. if it's from a website that's online), whereas True_Snake and I have used either vector or unique images, shouldn't that be considered? Unless Danny has the authorization from the original creator of the image, he is theoretically not allowed to use it for commercial purposes, as that's an obvious violation of copyright

For example, when we use stock images/photographs for logos, it's either from a royalty-free site or something we have purchased from paid stock image sites.
