hi there i have recently got into domains and am bulding a portfolio
i want to sell some of the less profitable domains i own but i am still within the 60 day rule
can i go ahead and list these for sale or should i wait
also
what is the easiest way to tell when the 60 days is up (on a large list of names)

Yes, you can sell domains any time, even the same day you register them. The 60 day rule applies to registrar to registrar transfers, not ownership changes. You do the ownership transfer within the registrar your domain is with.

Some registrars do not allow free accounts to be opened, so it can be a big problem

sorry hope im not taking over your thread here but i was just about to post the same thing...what do you suggest in this situation, if there is only that one name in the account can you just change the account info to the buyers name

We've done that in the past at 1&1 for domain sales. Think it would be possible at other registrars as well.

I know that zennames.com & domains.com (enom resellers) offer free accounts. The domain regs are way overpriced but you get free hosting, total dns control, templates, reg lock and more. You can push any name to another account(free setup) there for free at anytime. They have a handy option to push names with all contact info stipped out. I'm assuming enom does this too since they are resellers. Anybody know?
