Can I ask what you mean by "at that price". Do you mean that vowel 5Ls will not hit top rates? Grateful for your take on the ones I have listed above- worth holding for a couple of year/developing/going out to market?

No No i did not mean they are not anything or will not. What i tried to say the price rainapple123 gave here are not applicable for vowel domains. That doesn't means that 5l with vowels can't worth 200, 300 ... $, they are selling for thousands for years, pronounceable 5l are selling from 19's.

Thought on your domains:

#1 i don't see much value in it.
#2 car is a very good keyword but i don't know if its iq or LQ if iq might be worth.
#3 its a pattern domain you need to see how many on this pattern are left to reg its a buyout category might be worth it, But see domains with vowel are for western culture. So they do not look for rarity on domains ( 5l is no way comparable with 3 or 4l domains when it comes to rarity ) or patterns, its the mind set of chinese domainers so i don't know the true value of these type of domains.

I think if you are going for western 5l go for CVCVC or VCVCV. Domains that ends with o are very good bet. Domains ending with co is like a 3L domain ending with company at the end ( all good ones are registered )
Domains ending with LTD is a good bet ( all registered out )
Domains ending with NGO
Domains ending with countrycode like EN,US,CN,BD etc

There are tons of combination but see you are not investing randomly any more you have some clue why they will sell.
