I have a great domain name that I want to use for expiring domain names searches.

I want to use the same interface as justdropped.com.

Thing is, I want there to be a little box to the right of each domain name that appears on any given search.

Prior to the consumer being able to search, they would need to become a "member" by filling out thier information, and assigning a log-in. I want to collect ALL of the information needed for them to register a domain name.

at the end of each search result, there is then two options. "check out with domains" or "push domains into shopping cart and continue searching"

When they end up completing thier search, and checking out, I want them to go directly to an API account at enom to purchse the domain names so that I can get a commission.

Is this possible? I am looking for someone who knows how to navigate enom and write the program needed to make this happen.

Please IM me.

Phil

Technically it can be done, no problems.
The issue here is the list of available/expired domains. You either have to compile your own lists or rely on an external provider like exody.
If you have access to the zone files from Verisign you could also parse them to make up your own list of dropping domains.

Yeah, the main technical challenge would be getting the list of domains. But everything else isn't difficult. Standard shopping cart.

The access to verisign files are also commercial nowadays.

If you are willing to go for it. I can develop this easily.

As everyone already said, the programming/design part is the easy part. It can be done fairly easily with php/mysql. If you can get the list of expired domain, then any decent programmer can do the rest of the job for you.

You can apply for access to the zone files. I think it's still free, at least for me but my login is old. For .com & .net you apply with verisign. For .org it's pir.org etc.
You still have to parse the files which are very large (3+ Gb for .com => 57 000 000 domains and growing) so obviously you need a good connection and decent computer resources.

Or see with Exody, they provide fresh lists of all kinds. You may need a specific licence depending on their terms so it's best to talk to them. Exody could be the right option for you.

The rest is not that complicated but you will still have a very large DB so a good design is essential.
