$50 Contemporary Vector Logo Contest

Hi,

- CM Logo -

I require a logo for my freelance web and graphic design portfolio found here. Will be replacing existing logo.

Possible concepts: Take the flowers and birds as inspiration create a logo from that possibly? Or something completely different? I’ll take everything into account.

Desired style: Contemporary, modern, clean, and complement my website.

Desired Colour Scheme: Must fit with current colour scheme of site, for example somewhere close to these colours:
- #B82A2A
- #F4F3EE
- #666666
- #990000

Desired File Format: Must be Vector, .eps and .ai required.

Prize money: $50 through PayPal

Deadline: September 8th

Rights: Upon completion of the transaction, I will own exclusive rights to the logo. I have no problem if the author wants to display it in their portfolio but do not want the same design sold to someone else. I reserve the right not to pick a winner if for some reason not happy with the logos designed.

Here's my entry.

The first one was used an nice AI technique to achive that effect and the bottom one has a rounded overall shape to stand from the rest of the website.

Guetizo - Not to keen on version 1 but like the idea of version 2, so perhaps continue in that direction.

Saves Th3 Day - Don’t really like the shape or the font used but would like to see some more concepts from you.

I forgot in my first post to attach the font i used on my current logo... So here it is... Your not required to use this font, its just that i have used it elsewhere on my site.

Koncepts - Really like the flower, looks excellent! Could you show me this with lighter shades of grey please? I like the red colour. The font kind of makes it look like a flower boutique website, so not to sure about that.

Added a new element that I assume you'd like it. A bird.
#2.1 your font.
#2.2 a more rounded one to balance the logo and added a final leg on the stylized "m".

Guetizo - Love the bird! But now im not to sure about the rounded shape kind of doesnt look right with the bird there. I think something a bit more naturalistic is required to go with the bird.

Perhaps creates a plant pot with a flower (maybe red) and the bird perched on top of a stick or something?

Keep hold of that logo though because it maybe the case that i decide to go back to it!

Guetizo and Koncepts are my favourites so far.

Once im happy with the logos im going to need to see what they look like on the header of my website, so may require a screenshot of that as well.

Ok Beatz and Janine XD apart from the revisions I have requested would you mind taking a screenshot of my header on my site and replacing the current logo with your logos. It will just give me a better idea of how it fits with the overall scheme of the site.
