Hey all, ive been looking for AGES and cannot find a registrar or reseller that will sell $5 .us domains.

Anyone know if there are any doing so at the moment?

i think that $5 dollars is too cheap for a .us...i dun thin any hosting companies will offer that...they are making a loss.

FYI the Neustar registry charges $5.50 for each .us (if I remember well). The remainder is the registrar margin...

how can you be so sure that the .us at 1and1 is $10?

First of all someone said go with 1and1.com that domain service is so bad i cant even exsplain, second im pretty sure .us domains are like 10$.

I wouldent use 1And1 even if the domains werer $2.99 since the last time i bought a ded server from them. I said to my self if i buy anthing from them again i would kill my self. Lol yeah their dedicated servers are that bad.

wish i would have read this post before I regged 2 names at 1and1 the other day. And I must say I agree... the cheap price is not worth the hassle. Plus they don't have bulk registration.

Just my opinion. I'll definitely be transfering out of there when I can. It will probably hurt trying to sell the names also being registered at such an unpopular place.
