5 Letter Domain -- Funny

So yesterday I inquired a gentlemen about a 5 Letter domain. Completely irrelevant to any known appreviation, in fact, searching google for the combination only returns few results. He responded to me today via telephone with the amount of 4k. It contains an awlful combination of letters, and only has one vowel.

Does this seem right? Please tell me Im not smoking anything. I have never heard of a 5 Letter being that high for an undevelped sedo site.

I did infact ask the seller if he was a member of namepros and he said no. This leads me to believe that he is not really familiar with the market and is quite new to the industry

Any ideas or thoughts?

Sounds to me its not so random if he owns it and you want it. Value exists, but since your not revealing the domain - how are we to know?

And this is exactly why most problems can be answered with all information. However, it appears you likely made an offer on the wrong domain name. This one doesn't appear to have ever been registered, no whois history.

Chalk it up to Driver Error.

However, the title becomes more appropiate as it progresses. Not sure if the OP meant it "funny" as in that way.

I would just get rid of it because I really don't see any actual value in that domain name, especially if it's undeveloped. For what this guy is offering I feel like that's a great deal for you.
