Is the .com transfer offer on particular days or is it already over? I see the price for .com transfers mentioned as $11.05 in your site price list.
And would like to know if transferring to another UD account within 1 year would also require to pay back the UD savings.

Transfer deal is on any day. You'll see the discount in your cart when you submit auth codes.

Thanks for pointing this out about our pricing page, I'll get it updated.

Selling a domain on our marketplace doesn't require paying back the discount.

Can we PUSH domains from 1 ac to another ac at unstoppable?

If yes, will there be a charge similar to transfer, if pushed before 1 year?
@Unstoppable Domains Please can you answer the above questions??

If I transfer domains to you, they will be under 60 day lock. So if I sell a domain at Afternic for example I will need to be able to push the domain to customers account at Unstoppable. If you do not have this ability its a deal breaker.

I do not see push option
but obviously they can do it if domain bought on market or via their sale lander.

I assume in this case no need to pay the 1yr difference fee

so in that sense push available just not to us

I intend to finalize all my bodis inquiries via unstoppable lander direct. as I do via dyna or sav lander.

I don't like to assume.

Very unusual that they do not have basic feature like account push.

Also the fact they have not even responded to this thread to clarify even though it has been asked twice by 2 people.

Sorry for the delay here. Yes we support pushing domains, no charge. Right now it's a bit clunky but you can find it under "web3 transfer domain" on your dashboard. The buyer will need to provide you their wallet address from their settings

We will clean this up in the future to make it more obvious

Please consider the average buyer when we sell a domain.
They are not going to have a clue about all this web 3/wallet address stuff.

If we sell a domain though Afternic as in my example they are not going to be asking customer for a wallet address.

Transferring a domain is probably already hard enough for them and then you are adding unnecessary complexity for them.

It should be made as simple as every other regular registra otherwise you risk losing us sales.

I could transfer a lot of domains to you but this one aspect puts me off completely.

Agree.. not everyone tech savvy enough to understand those wallet address web 2 web 3 stuff, if we want push -give me username.

Just a heads up to customers regarding the Unstoppable Domains $5.52 transfer offer:
The conditions originally advertised were:
Conditions: Link to Terms
  • Regular price for a .COM transfer: $11.05
  • Discounted transfer price: $5.52
  • Domains must remain registered with Unstoppable Domains (UD) for the entire first year.
  • If transferred away within the first year, customers must pay UD the 50% savings (maximum $5.53).
  • Limit: Total discount per customer cannot exceed $11,000.

However, this offer is no longer valid.
The limit was drastically changed without notice.
According to the promoter, Brady, they changed the deal to about 300 domains. He confirmed privately to a partner that they had already received more than double the new cap.
Hereโ€™s the actual conversation:
Partnership: Total discount gap is 11K โ€” think with 600 names, not near that.
Brady: We lowered the cap, but the good news is you got more than the new cap already โ€” so it was a steal for you.
Partnership: Was nice, but a little heads-up would have been nice. Thanks.
Brady: Yes, we could have given you a heads-up โ€” sorry about that. Is the referral program not interesting to you?

With that said, I want to be clear that we are grateful to Unstoppable Domains for the opportunity.
Given the size of our partnershipโ€™s portfolio, we had originally planned to move about 50% of our domains over to Unstoppable.
But due to the sudden and unexpected change โ€” and the fact thereโ€™s still been no public update โ€” weโ€™re now questioning the long-term commitment to customers' best interests.
If we had known the terms would change, we would have just continued transferring our domains to Spaceship, where transfers are $7.99 with no strings attached, and backed by Namecheap, one of the top 3 domain companies in the world.
That said, weโ€™ll keep the domains we've already transferred at Unstoppable for now โ€”
we want to learn their system and maybe even test out their marketplace for future sales partnerships.
No bad feelings at all โ€” we appreciate everything Unstoppable has offered, and if asked, we'd be happy to help provide honest feedback.
Respectfully. ''Company Domain Names'' group '' Joe Drake, all info is 100% true''

u make it sound like they changed something other tan quantity

which they didn't

11k names was stupid to begin with

why give 11k to a few rich big domainers who have money anyway..
make it 400 max or the current 600 max

and allow everyone to benefit

it is pathetic to give 11k limit
and even more pathetic for some big domainers with good funds to whine when max goes down

think of others now and then will ya

it's why we are alive
to share
not just me me me all the time

it still says 11k in terms so this is confusing

eeither way who needs 11k anyway

make smaller limits so all benefit

Thanks for sharing your perspective โ€” it's always interesting when strong opinions meet... creative interpretations of facts.

Just to set the record straight: the change wasnโ€™t just about โ€œquantity.โ€ The maximum discount was slashed to $2,000 without warning โ€” something even Brady (the promo manager) openly admitted was handled poorly. As of now, no official correction has been issued, even though the offer is still being advertised on major domain blogs like DomainSherpa. So forgive some of us for expecting companies to honor the deals they promoted, or at least to update them properly.

And about this idea that every domainer is a "rich big shot"? Not quite. Many of us budget carefully, build strategies based on whatโ€™s actually promised, and trust companies to stand by their word โ€” not just toss the rules mid-game and hope no one notices.

Standing up for fairness isnโ€™t โ€œwhining.โ€
Itโ€™s what responsible domainers do โ€” for ourselves and for the community.

Sharing is important. So is honesty. Without both, you don't have a community โ€” you have a free-for-all.

Wishing you the best โ€” genuinely โ€” and hoping next time we all stick to the facts, not assumptions.

yep all good
good perspectives too

all I meant is that If reducing max means more folk get a share of pie then I'm all for it. no matter how they handle it. the aim is noble enuf to make up for any handling imo

of course whoever wanted big limits wont be happy

but let's hope the concept of ... more for all... will reduce their..
pain.

Fair enough, and I appreciate you clarifying. I get that if the end result is more people getting a piece of the pie, that's a positive. Still, it feels like Unstoppable may have gotten in over their heads here โ€” offering more than they could realistically deliver, then quietly changing the rules when it caught up to them.

If that mess ends up helping more people, great โ€” but it doesn't erase the fact that trust takes a hit when companies pull moves like this. Hopefully they learn something from it, because a strong community needs both opportunity and honesty.

300 Domains that is completely different ball game to what is advertised.

11K total discount at $5.53 would have been approx 1990 Domains.

Very questionable behaviour advertising one thing and delivering another.

Totally agree โ€” and just to give this some bigger context:

When Unstoppable's CEO Matt Gould was recently on DomainSherpa, he mentioned these promos, and Andrew Rosener literally warned him in real time, "Be careful buddy, youโ€™re going to have a problem."

What was initially a Sherpa-only promo for domainers with 100+ names exploded into a public mess. They clearly weren't prepared, and now theyโ€™re changing the rules midstream.

Companies that want a long future in this space can't afford moves like this โ€” just ask anyone who lived through the Alpdomain collapse.

Honestly, it's not just the smaller domainers noticing this anymore.

If Unstoppable really wants to be a major registrar, they need to fix this properly โ€” because at the pace this is moving, it wonโ€™t stay a small community issue for long.

(Plenty of domain media outlets watch how these things unfold.)

The question is if you didn't raise the issue would most even get to know about it.

The website still advertising $11K of discount is false and misleading. Not sure on the legality of it.

Were they just hoping that most people wouldn't transfer in more than 300. How do we know if they actually let anyone transfer in 1990 domains?

I won't be using them if this is how they do business.
