Yeah, mtld did some weird things like that with premium names...

They made melatonin.mobi premium, but not antioxidant or antioxidants, even though melatonin is an antioxidant -- go figure

On my Nokia, long pressing a key will jump to the number value for that key, negating the need for 3-4 taps to get to the number.

Pda's, at least the 2 I've owned, have a special software program that puts a virtual keyboard on the screen. You can then go about typing with your stylus. It's pretty easy to do 20wpm once you get used to it and makes entering numbers a snap.

Hey,

As for weird things, mtld made some names premium if they were plural or singular, but didn't take the other singular/plural version. Funny enough, sometimes the version they neglected to take is actually better. An example of this would be Scores.mobi which is not reserved, yet Score.mobi is.

As for finding out about premium names, most people use DomainScore.com to judge what would be considered premium. Any score >400 is considered premium. The tool does have it's flaws, just like Overture, and Wordtracker, so it's important to still properly research names if they're in the low 400s in the .mobi extension. If the names score 450+ in .mobi, you can rest assured that they're likely well worth the reg fee.

6x6 are much, much less common than 4x4's.

Kind of like my antioxidants.mobi site -- I won't complain about them not considering it "premium worthy", because I'm getting lots of type-ins

I'm not sure how they came to the conclusion of which names were premium, and which ones not. Whether it was done via a script, decided by people, or some combination of both, it seems that they left out some names which certainly were good enough to be premiums, and made some names premium which really shouldn't have been.

I agree. Just check some name ex artdeco.mobi is a premium but artdecor.mobi is free to reg.
