So one of my clients approached me with a domain that I believe is worth a LOT, but I'd like to get NPers' opinion on how much it's worth (as I don't consider myself anywhere near an expert in the field of domaining).

The "F" lowers the value. You can't exactly develop a respectable site with one of the words meaning FUC*...

Explain why a site has to be "respectable" to make money,have value or be popular? Are you saying sex.com, c*nt.com, ass.com, tits.com and f*ck.com are all worthless domains because they aren't respectable? It's ludicrous. The acronym is huge because of the F. Probably more so than OMG. Edgy works just as well in my view.

This is a great name imo. Not many people that use the interenet will NOT know what this stands for.

Lots and lots of usage from video sites to dating, money .. infact you could develop this into so much.

It's hard to gauge how much the "F" lowers the value of the site, because the difference in value between OMG.com and OMFG.com is going to be considerable with ot without the "respectability" issue.

It's a great domain. If you're not going to develop it, you should make sure you don't undersell. Certainly worth well north of $3,000. Much more of the right buyer is there.

I'd say OMFG.com is worth 10% of that 8k-10k.
If a corporation and another company with money
become interested, I could see it going for up to
25k or so in a bidding war.

just to name a few.

And is more memorizable than most 4 -letter domains.

When I saw this domain, first thought was it owuld make a great site for a gag merchant, kind of like spencer's gifts something like that.

In the 1x,xxx range, imo.
