$40 logo contest

Hi,

My company is Kauth Construction Services, Inc. I manage large commerical construction projects for owners.

I need a logo for my company. I would like to have a graphic that is slightly impressionist (yet professional) and use blue as one of the colors. I would like the logo to look "clean."

KCS are my company's initials and can be used in the logo if the name is too long. My company website address is below - but I am revising it :O

What kinds of tools do you use? You said pencil and paper but what some other examples. Im working on a logo now but I just want to make sure I use the right tools.

Hi Durinthiam/Buy&Swap/Vivisin/dan vt/dadadesign

I like your designs a lot - (in particular, dadadesign, I love the visual of your logo. I love it a lot! Vivisn, your tone is great and dan vt, yours is very original and clean) but a branding professional told me that while to the logos are beautiful, they don't convey a strong message about my business. Now, not being a marketing person, I am not really sure how to convey a message, but I thought I would pass the comment along. Thanks for all your effort and work so far!!!!

A very interesting thing happened when I showed people your logos. Every woman I showed the logos to picked sbongos as their favorite. Without fail, every guy picked guetizo's as their favorite! Which fascinates me because I have shared these logos with 10+ people including 2 marketing experts (1 man, 1 woman), a business strategist, clients and friends.

I like sbongos ALOT! But the business strategist told me that while it was fabulous, my target audience is men - and to not forget it!

The woman marketing expert told me that it would be interesting if sbongo could take the logo and somehow convery "no building - to a building" type of concept.

But, since I do market to men, the lead right has to be with guetizo.

Thanks! Really, I wasn't quite happy of what it come out with my first entry and due to your last feedback I just brainstorm and the answer was that design.
I think it will represent you in a very strong way. That was the meaning behind it.

The usual thing is to set up a paypal account at www.paypal.com. Then add some funds and you're off to buy the whooole internet!

What she meant is to convey a message that:
You want a building - you have no building - you hire Mary - you have a building.

kinda hard for me to explain. I like your redo - to me it says here is a building that needs help - Mary came - the building looks new and beautiful. Is that the message you were trying to convery? If it is, you hit right on the mark.

Dada - these are great!

The tie is between Dada and guetizo right now, but I am conferring with the marketing people tonight - so who knows? I will make the decision by 9:00am PST USA tomorrow.

Nope! It is not closed. I was closing it tomorrow (Friday, March 3) at 9am PST, but if anyone would like more time, I can just as easily close it at the end of the day tomorrow.
