I am a freelancer looking for full (or at least major) projects, websites based mainly on PHP, JavaScript, AJAX and MySQL or a role in a serious team.
Here are some of my websites I use to showcase my "best practice":
1: http://www.vmall.byethost9.com - a XHTML Strict website with AJAX functionality for the shopping cart and with SEO URLs ( not using a .htaccess file, I've built a custom PHP script to read the URLs )
2: http://www.v-mall.byethost6.com - having a relatively ( for a free web service web server ) high MySQL databse this website demonstrates a fast loading of database content. For example the navigation is generated every time the database content is changed so that when the user loads a page no sql queries would be performed for generating the navigation and thus increasing the loading speed. A timer is displayed at the bottom of the page.
3: http://www.v-mall.byethost6.com/ajax/ - it is a full AJAX website, a variation of the previous website. All activity on this website is kept on the main page (index.php) without the need to reload images, navigation and so on.
4: http://www.vframe.byethost2.com/twerq/sr/ - a website I've built for a customer, XHTML and AJAX (records AJAX actions).
5: http://www.vframe.byethost2.com/twerq/sp/ - a low resources spell chacker. Again, based on PHP and AJAX.
I hand code XHTML at W3C standards (1,2,3,4 websites may be validated using buttons/links on the pages). Also for websites 1,2 and 3 I've used floating sizes so that when the user changes the font size the website is rendered properly (the customer did not want the option for website no. 4). I have also experience with Photoshop so I can design custom layouts if necessary and also if necessary can built Flash (ActionScript as well) and reverse AJAX apps. All my CSS/XHTML coding is supported by the main web browsers IE, Firefox, Opera and Netscape and also JavaScript is always light and error free, again, to support all web browsers. Also I have experience with FlashMX and ActionScript and can create Flash apps that communicate with PHP.
All my websites are object oriented (functions and classes) and are easy to reinstall on other servers if you will ever need to change the location. It's as simple as editing a file and changing the passwords, main URL etc.

I am a honest developer and I develop websites from scratch so that in the future any changes are easy to make, the website is easy to move on another server, the website is fast and not doing unnecessary functions etc etc etc, basicly custom build websites. I have been requested to do a 5 minute mod by a guy. It was an easy task, basicly he wanted to add comments for some pictures. I've decided to help him for free. When I got into his cPanel I've noticed he used a free framework that was trying to do everything and it was all a mess done by his ex programmer. I am studying economics and know what deadlines are and what project management is. Please be reasonable, especially if you need modificatons to be done. Also it will help if you have a basic layout, maybe at least a picture of the front page. I can make buttons and an XHTML layout from them but it's hard when the customer is confused about what he wants. This was the case with this project: http://www.vframe.byethost2.com/twerq/sr . He just showed me his design (a simple picture) and I went from there and built the end result. I only did tiny mods and everything went extremly well and he was very happy with the result. And that made me happy too :hehe:
