3DTVHomeTheater dotcom. Anyone have an opinion or value on this very near future tech domain name? Thanks in advance.

I posted a 3D domain recently and received no response whatsoever. The technology rolls out next year, I believe. I would say sit on it until it becomes more popular.

From the hype and buzz from what what I read, 3DTV is what most tvs will be (according to Sony) starting in 2010. They have a 3-d LCD TV coming out. I believe that people are using the acronym 3dtv for this type of tv. I think if this becomes popular, which it should, people will be looking for "3DTV Home Theater systems" for their homes.

But like most domainers, I am speculating and hoping

I hear what you are saying, but do you think that people are searching for LED TV home theatre systems, or plazma tv home theatre systems? My point is that the "kind" of TV has nothing to do with the sound system.

Anyhow, see how much traffic you get in about 6 months time. Good luck....I hope that you make a few bucks on it.

My bad. I thought "home theater systems" were the entire theater systems you put in your home including the tv, not just the sound system. I'm not very electronically or tech inclined. Thanks for the info

I don't think it is just a sound system. Here we call that 'surround sound '. What you have is correct terminology because that is surely how it will be marketed IMO. There is a good chance that the whole package will be sold which would include the 3D tv set and the sound system. Of course, I am only guessing the future, but it sounds good to me. Someone already snapped up 3D Home Theater dot com so as MJ said in one of his songs 'you are not alone'.

i think the name is what is says , all this stuff is not too far down the road , to the point only because i cant afford to keep all my names i have let a few go including

3dhometheater.tv (english and american spellings )

one has dropped and the other is about to , from memory

to me a 3d home theatre was/is including a projector unit ? or tv and sound system , there's changes coming , just do a google news search and there are heaps of stories about 3d tv

me i am happy i grabbed hd3d/tv and in my country 3dphones/com/au

You can tell when a product is worth something, after reading they go check whats available and try not to draw attention to the thread. No response is sometimes a good indication.
