Just curios how the market is for these domains right now.

Not bad, a year ago i remember people on various forums making fun of names similar to 3DShoes ( 3D+random stuff) and now they've actually begun to sell!

That's the whole point, it seems. => I mean in the quote => "The intrest is much higher now".

I would "appraise" 3Dprinter.org somewhere in the mid x.xxx region, enduser price, resellers wont pay more than max low x.xxx.

3DPrinter.net was sold for $1.476 , but in February 2011, before the "hype" , and it was at snapnames, so reseller price

The interest is much higher now.

I consider .net much better than .org for this keyword, so i would say the .net could be sold somewhere in the high x.xxx to an enduser (if it were for sale , undeveloped) and the .org probably max. mid x,xxx to an enduser.

I was enquiring about the price of 3dshoes.com a couple of weeks ago (to go alongside my "3dPrintedShoes.com") as it was listed for $399 and the broker said the owner would go as low as $199 so I'm slightly bemused, and maybe kicking myself to suddenly see it's been sold for 10 times as much.
