I still think there are some excellent names out there in the 3C area.

I’ve just picked up 1am.tv for reg fee from name.com for $10.99.

I know a lot of the experts do not like the strange combinations of 3C dot tv’s, however, there still seem to be some available which actually mean something.

I picked this one up for a possible online late night TV show etc.

Does anyone else have any views on the 3C TV’s?

Estibot values this at $6000, which I know means nothing, however, it still feels better than a $0 valuation.

Any ideas welcomed.

BJ

Not sure about 3c, but for reg fee, why not?
Maybe have a development idea in mind when purchasing in case an enduser sale doesn't pan out

Hi Evir,

I should have said 3 character, (numbers, letters, hyphens etc)

Thanks J73, it was the reg fee that made it attractive to me.

I have just checked the previous premium it was before March and it was $300. I would never have paid that amount for this, but $10.99 feels more attractive.

Take care,

BJ

Can't say I would reg some my self, ive never been a fan of them. Only way I would if is I had development plans, I can see 1am.tv being attractive for a site though nice pickup.

Mmmm, I had never thought of the year slots.

Maybe these would appeal to all the convicts out there :),

Seriously though, It just shows you how many short domains there are out there.

Whenever I am driving around I look at the back of cars or vans and think of their domain name.

I always say to my family, "you only have a split second, to catch the eye of someone, especially on the motorway, and therefore you need to make your name very catchy"

A 3 letter or 3 character domain allows your size of print to be bigger and is alot easier for people to remember.

I for one, forget things very quickly, (and I use to be a card counter) so for most people it is a nightmare to remember several different words, especially if they do not seem to belong to each other.

Thanks for getting back Evir, and good luck with your domains.

P.s I think having a few 3 letter domains in your portfolio will be a good return in a few years time. Just my honest opinion, for what it is worth.

BJ.
