Hi,

I've been offered USD800 for these 2 domains:

360forum.com
360forums.com

It is very likely that the new Xbox will be unveiled as Xbox 360 next month. So I am wondering if this seems like a good price for these domains, or if I should hold on to the product launch and maybe get a better price.

Any thoughts gratefully recieved!

Considering the fact that the official name has yet to be revealed; whether it be Xbox 360 or something otherwise, you're taking a gamble by keeping them. No official announcement has been made about the retail name of the console, and as far as the industry is concerned, "Xbox 360" is nothing more than a codename - much like "Nintendo Revolution." It's amazing how people build so much upon speculation, especially when the odds are against them.

Right now: High $$$- because you're feeding off of the same speculation that enticed you to register the domains in the first place.

This is a very decent offers if you don't plan to develop it... But if you're willing to put the time into it, you could likely make more in the long-term by developing it...

Very nice domain catch and I think you should hold on to them, develope and then sell ~ can get a good price, but just for domain to date, mid xxx$ undev.

Thanks everyone for your help and advice. Someone has contacted me via this thread and offered to develop it for a share of the revenue, so all going well 360forum.com should be up and running within the next week.

I'm guessing Yahoo! 360 will have a lot more users than XBox 360. Either way, great domain, lots of uses.
