I want something very simple and modern

A good example of what I'm looking would be the logo for Confused.com. Keep things very clean, crisp and bright.

Colors: You have 3 choices--> Red and white, Blue and white and Green and white.

Looks cool, but not sure about the color balance as the red on the .com looks darker than in the "Free" .

Submissions overall are getting better

It's the same color, but the dark grey color from ~car valuation~ creates this impression.
