I checked 1.com in Godaddy's domain appraisal. It shows the estimated value and then the renewal fee. Just out of curiosity, what is the reason for this extremely inflated renewal fee?

As far as I know there are only (3) single character .COM registered. Q, X, Z which are grandfathered. All the rest are registry reserved.

None are available to register, so the GoDaddy renewal fee price is moot.

By default, each .com has $8.57 wholesale pricing for renewal. Maybe thats bug from GoDaddy, because 1-letter domains is highly premium in each zone.
