Registered in February of 1995, FastFood.com sold for $65,000 at Sedo. The domain name moved to Google domains from Network Solutions where it was registered for years. The domain name redirects to Pareto20.com an investment firm out of Miami. Under stealth companies they list hospitality as one of their categories. I would imagine they acquired […]

Seems underpriced, but it is one of those terms that sounds great but it might not have a great practical use.

Does seem really cheap. Would be a great name for a delivery firm like Deliveroo, Just Eat etc.

Yeah, it would be tough to beat for $65K in terms of quality in .COM.

I have seen a lot worse sell in that range.

Someone just wanted money now everyone is out of pocket with covid. Plenty of broke domainers with great inventory.

    Send them my way.

I have been struggling to find many great investment opportunities lately.

Great deal for the buyer. With everything opening up again and festivals starting again I expect FoodFest360 to follow suit soon

I don't agree. The last year + has probably been the most lucrative time for domain investors with great/valuable domain name assets. If someone with truly "great inventory" is broke, it probably means they've turned down some very good offers in the hopes of selling for phenomenal prices. Sort of their own fault, but relatively easy to rectify if necessary.

As for the topic of the article - it happens every day. Someone with a six figure price tag sells for mid five figures. I think just about every mid five figure domain name I bought started with a six figure price tag.

Regarding this specific domain name, I don't love it. I think Fast Food / FastFood.com could be a neat delivery brand name because you get food fast, but 1) "fast food" has a negative connotation to me and 2) the food delivery market is very saturated. Just my opinion on this one.

Fastfood is the most common term for takeaway in Australia. I assumed it was a world term eg fishnchips. As far as broke well i cry poor but spend non stop domaining is hobby and work on top.

Seems rather low to me too, Fast Food has significant Mind Share and could be branded easily for food delivery or other app.
