Definately agree with the whole "miss the boat" thing, but I would go up to 10 -12k on value ATM. Remember HDTV will eventually just be referred to as TV just as Color TV became just TV, don't wait too long. Sell it if you get a good offer.
I guess high definition could just end up evolving to some other meaning in the future but that may be a good while between the value you can get now and just a good price for a CCC.com because HD stops being the way people refer to TV or Audio.
