Four-letter domains had been selling like crazy in the past year. Even I sold one at a reseller sum of $900+ a few months back. Now that we’re in 2016, the heat’s only getting hotter, and desirable LLLL’s are growing ever the more expensive. The .com market directly affects all other major domain markets and once things get too expensive in the #1 sector, its #2 warms up. A LLLL .com with 2 repeating beginning letters had been out of reach for awhile, unless someone puts a mortgage on their house to buy it. Even in the .net realm, it’s not easy to locate an affordable one. Just for comparison, look at these reported sales, courtesy of the domain sales reporting website NameBio:

Even years ago, LLLL.net’s have been doing well. But now that the niche had blown sky-high in 2015, you’ll be seeing more sales of .net’s like these. I have this domain and a handful of others being auctioned off here in January. As they all have no reserve, you could theoretically win them all with a single, one-dollar bid per.
