Anyone using some of the more obscure search engines listed? What's your experience? Any recommendations?

DuckDuckGo "emphasizes protecting searchers' privacy and avoiding the filter bubble of personalized search results". My favourite alternative to the big G.

MS Bing. It appears to offer more curated results than G.

I've tried DuckDuckGo - it's nice that they protect the searches but not overly impressed with the interface

Other options on the list offer the same level of protection - might try a few out and see what's what - I'm intrigued by the carbon neutral one.....

That's a step in the right direction - planting plants and solar plants.
