$20 Politics Site Logo Contest

I am creating a new forum -politics.bb and am in need of a logo.

The forum is a political discussion forum so I am looking for something fairly simple which will represent that.

The competition will last a maximum of 7 days and the winner will receive a $20 paypal payment.

I am aware that I haven't given a lot of information so please feel free to ask questions.

Thanks Bomb for a great start.

What I would say is that this site is starting out internationally, I therefore see this logo as a little bit too American (the stars and stripes, democrats and republicans). I also wanted to emphasize the BB (which in this case is perfect) but also ensure that the domain name is obvious (politics.bb)

I like the above design. But I also like the idea of Red and Black with a polished effect.

@DBADT2007 - I like the design, my main criticism is just the US theme again, this logo needs to be all encompassing.

@kosvam - I particularly like the idea in the second design that you did where the 'T' looks like a religious cross. Could that be emphasised a bit more? The colours could also do with spicing up (maybe the red and black again?)

@bomb - Looks great, I think the red could do with being a little deeper, but maybe that's just me being picky :p

@EVERYONE - I like the idea of the icon to the left being a ballot box
