domain 2 domains - one slightly developed.

Need some REAL feedback about these two domains. I have tried to see who was the best to ask and 3 people told me this forum was the place to come so...Here I am. :hehe:

The first site is hugelists.com
It is developed for my "small" business. I am NO web designer so if you peak, don't laugh! I have not offered it for sale and I have no round about figures for what it might be worth.. .. So... I'm listening.

The second one I bought on Ebay, price undisclosed. It was a spur of the moment buy and I have just renewed the registry on it. The name is auctionspages.com
Again, No idea what it is worth (or what it is NOT worth)
No site with this one, Just the name.

Any feedback would be AWESOME! Thanks!

HugeLists wasn't what I was expecting when I paid it a visit. Nice site! I guess I wasn't thinking of the advertising angle.

I like the name.

AuctionsPages.com I'm not as inclined to get as excited about. The plural of Auctions hurts it alot IMO. Certainly doesn't roll of the tongue.

I am more willing to sell the auctionspages.com more than the hugelists.com but, if the shoe fits... Please, looking forward to hearing some kind of a guestimate for each of them.

I like Hugelists.com...IMHO $40 wholesale, $80 as is, $250-$XXX if developed nicely!

Auctionspages.com...not so much...$25 wholesale IMO.

BTW your site isnt bad at all. I was kind of taken back at how long the page went down but I like it.

Checked the site quickly and it is down?

On auctionspages.com I'd unfortunately say that the only value in it is the registration fee that you've paid. I don't think it's a great idea to invest a great deal of time developing this type of domain because of too many plurals & the subsequent difficulty to brand. Which one of these will your customer remember?

The first one of these 4 is the best one and developing any of the other three is going to drive type in traffic to the first one. Develop a fantastic site on auctionspages.com (the grammar doesn't even fit you know?), and you're going to have someone capitalizing on it by either attempting to sell you auctionpages.com at a premium or squatting your traffic for their own profit.

Hi, Just an update here. I sold hugelists today for $206!!! I was suprised. The guy liked my member resources (inside the members area) and bought the site based on that info! Thanks to those who gave me an idea of what to go for!

auctionpages went for 700NP's. lol. Thanks to CH!
Just thought it might be nice for an update to be posted to see about how accurate appraisals were on NP! Considering you could only see about 10 of the 85MBs worth of space on the site, It was a great appr! Thanks again!

Hey, I have bad news. BUT good news. I told this guy I changed my mind because he would not pay me as planned. Very upsetting to me! Anyhow... I went back to my site and checked the stats for the FIRST time since I have had the site and realized I would have made a big mistake! (I would have been posting my bad experience in the domain discussion forum. :lol: )

Anyways, This is good news for you good people here at NP! I will make a post in the for sale Forum and list this site (hugelists.com) up for auction ALONG with a url to the stats of the site. I have taken page prints of the stats and will have themavailable! Just wanted to "update again" LOL. Look for this domain (and stats) for sale soon!

I guess things do happen for a reason! He lost out on a good deal and now I get to profit from it!! HAHA
