I owned it a while back but man did I skrew up. I bought it through godaddy and I was so siked. I contacted godaddy and asked them if they wanted it from me. I figured hell they will make an offer and ill accept almost any. Well, that didnt happen. They flat out removed it from my account.

*What would have happened if I used register instead then contacted them?

Teach you, just because a trademark domain is available, does not mean you should register it.

Given Go Daddys relationship with ICANN, And it really being seen as a "cyber Squatting type situation" your infringing on go daddys trade mark and in all honesty could potientially hurt you much more then you even know. Now if you turned the site into something completely unrelated to internet domains (say tips for new dads) then you could have a possibility of offering it up to them later on. Either way though its playing with fire!

Cybersquatting
(also known as domain squatting), according to the United States federal law known as the Anticybersquatting Consumer Protection Act, is registering, trafficking in, or using an Internet domain name with bad faith intent to profit from the goodwill of a trademark belonging to someone else. The cybersquatter then offers to sell the domain to the person or company who owns a trademark contained within the name at an inflated price.

In short most companies see buying the domain off of the individual is cheaper then spending the time and money into legal fees to acquire it. However, If a company has a strong enough hold on the market, say apple for instance. and someone owned iPhone5, apple isn't going to pay that individual for iPhone5 if its nothing but a blank site or if it is a site regarding iPhones, as its a infringement of the trade name "iPhone". They could file a complaint with ICANN and then your domain no longer belongs to you.

Dude are you serious. All people are telling you about the Trademark thing and you still wont believe it.
Goto This link - To check all the trademark disputes
Goto This link - Here the domain was Golf.com.br and the owner lost it to VW, read why he lost a generic Golf domain to Volkswagen.
One of the member have to abondan his brand name Go Time Ventures just because godaddy had Trademarked "Its Go Time" phrase.

Wake up and listen to the old time members.
Else its free world and your money

No disrespect , the featured article is exactly a contradiction of what you old timers are saying then. He beat a company to their own name. He was more blatant then what I did.
I mearly stumbled on to a 1800 number I liked. He took their exact name.

Sometimes it's just so hard to tell when one is being trolled and when one's not. This is one of those situations.

You should have learned your lesson the first time - but it doesn't seem you did. You come here seeking peoples advice - but the you won't listen. So bangwell, you feel free do what you want to do, but you might want to check out the following first:

https://www.namepros.com/threads/consequences-of-registering-trademark-domains.778594/

And do some additional reading through the NP Legal section,
https://www.namepros.com/forums/legal-discussion.229/

I've done all I can do here...
