$150 Logo/Header Contest Has Begun! WebmasterPost.com

The contest for the new header and logo for WebmasterPost.com is now open to all. The current design will be changed so the header should not be based on the current design of the header. The height of the header should be around 70px high and the width should be at least 779px.

I am open to any color choices, but the shade of blue that we use in the current skin will remain so the colors should match with this blue.

(hint: if you make a flash header, or if not flash, at least a moving logo (like a revolving world globe for example) you've got my vote though I can't speak for the Moderators. If you did use flash, then there is no need to use layers)

We do not have a slogan, but fee free to add one for that added touch.

The winner will need to provide the layered header image, and logo with a transparent background.

Besides the pride of your design being chosen and displayed for all to see, you will receive $150 USD via Paypal. Please post your entry here in this thread and the Moderators (who don't enter the contest) and I will be the judges. The contest starts today and ends August 18th. The Moderators and I will then review and vote and the winner will be chosen on August 19th.

This is a Great start Patrick! Do you work with flash at all? This flash template is public property: http://demo.joomlahacks.com/index.php?jos_change_template=world_av

I love that it's flash and the globe logo is very cool (get rid of the airplane of course). I don't know if you can take an existing flash header and modify it but if you enterd something flash like that into the contest, it would get my vote.

P.S. - I do work with Flash if you'd like something edited. I am not, however, the world's greatest expert with Flash. I do know some good looking effects and tricks.

Good question about multiple forum contest. The contest is being held to kick off the grand Re-Opening of WebmasterPost.com, the former DevDreams.com so it is officially being held there. I have only posted this contest here and at DNF (Correction, DNF has deleted that contest thread cuz they felt it was a competing forum).

NameMaker, this is my favorite Header from you (I won't say if it's my favorite header of all, just my favorite header from NameMaker). If you could only put some movement in there. How hard would it be to make the Post It note look like it was blowing in the breeze?
