It was just FIVE days ago we celebrated having 101,000 posts and seven days before that we enjoyed hitting the 100,000 mark.

NOW -

Things have moved on, let's enjoy the fact we have surpassed:

102,000 POSTS

.TV must really be in the pan!

Congrats on the 102,000 mark for sure ... but with a concurrent Premium .TV Sedo auction (on the heels of a new pricing structure announcement), and ensuing discussions, it would make sense that these levels are consistently being achieved at this time, IMHO. :gl:
As to whether or not the ccTLD ".TV" is, or remains, in the pan; that may or may not have anything to do / correlate with forum posting and activity. :red: :imho:

Enjoy,
Jeff B-)

I am not so sure there is anything worth celebrating about smashing the 100,000 post point and cruising through another two thousand posts when the majority of those posts have come from the senseless pointless chitchat of a post factory manufacturer.

A good deal of active, passionate posts and OPINIONS; never a bad thing ... plus I think we'll still have plenty to continue to talk about as the fallout and dust settles from both this recent Sedo ".TV" auction, as well as the lingering status / predicament with the existing Premium (ie. HEFTY annual :$: renewal fees) .TV owners, IMHO. :talk:

See you soon,
Jeff B-)

Hello guys, I am a new member from the Carolina's.

I work in an industry where the .tv extension is a natural because of recent emerging trends. Various professionals, who had never considered using live video conferencing in the past, are being bombarded with state and federal laws requiring VCโ€™s rather than face-to-face meetings when FTF is more costly or difficult to complete because of staff shortages, travel expense, etc.

Professional association convention presentations in my industry on this type of use is also huge this year.

As far as the number of posts on this forum, Jimbo I think it's wonderful that the interest has been peaked related to .tv. It motivates people to join in the open discussion, evaluate .tv for themselves as an investment and consider development.

Welcome aboard, tele, and thank you for your input that you have already provided the members here...I hope that we do the same for you in terms of giving you ideas and data that would be of benefit to your work and/or investments.

From what you have stated, it seems that you have already experienced the realm of the extension which is taking shape on an ever expanding stage and is showing signs of continued and steady growth. Our earnest hope is that this adventure becomes a pleasant and prosperous one for you and those like you.

Have fun here as we are a loosely knit group of motley characters with a wide range of philosophical and practical opinions. Bottom line here is to think for yourself and share with all...

Thank you for the welcome freedom! You are welcome for the insight. I hope I'll be able to contribute more as I learn more about domaining. So far, I've been a reg'um and hold 'em kind of lady. I've purchased 1 domain in the aftermarket - a .org in my business' name. When I think back on my mistakes over the past 8 or 9 years of regging I could 'kick my own tail' because I've seen a lot of great websites being built and now standing on domains I allowed to expire. Motley characters of 'various kinds' are my kind of people! :)

ipodxpert, I think you can expect your visitor #'s to only increase. I'm excited to meet the domainer --> :snaphappy: ... who holds tele.tv in their portfolio, you gotta know I think highly of that domain.

Jimbo :tu:-, thank you for starting the thread that allowed me to feel comfortable getting my feet wet here on .tv!

Funnily enough I bought f2f.tv. It's sort of a paradox but I think there's some future in it as a catchy domain. I'm reviewing the F2F (friend to friend) protocols to see if that could be a potential fit...

I have an idea for development but it's a little low on my radar. I need to hire some 8/hr latvians.

Very funny.

I swear, within the past couple weeks I've had 3 similar .tv's in my cart a half dozen times but never pulled the trigger on these...
f4f.tv
f4m.tv
m4f.tv

I would have thrown m4m in there too, but that was gone already.
Seriously, as early as probably a week ago I have had all 3 of those in there.
I just checked all 3 again, and I now see f4f is gone too, did you grab that one? Also if anyone cares, m4f, and f4m are still available.

One of my last reg lists I chose CamShows.tv instead, and still debating about another one but, I better not take too much time because everyday I see some .tv's that were available the day before. They are really getting snagged up quickly. The Premiums too!
