This is an opportunity for you to show your real creativity for logo design. This is for a business that sells rare coins and currency. Ideally, would like a 1970's/1980's appeal. A very professional appeal. The business is located in Castro Valley, California USA.

Remember, this logo has to look really good. The design will be the new storefront banner, will be on business cards, and of course the website.

I think you're seriously onto something. Work on some more details of the face. I am looking for a unique shadow type appearance that's kind of hard to explain. I will post other samples. Try making it look like the portrait on a U.S. paper currency note too. Theres too much open space within circle. Also put in light plant or leaves or something on the edge where the circle ends.

This is a bit hard to explain on how I want the face to look so I'll to my best. Check out the logos below.

I hope all of these give you a better idea of the type of face design I want.

Certainly on the right track. Work on the face and hair more. Ref sample logos above of how those faces look.the crown in the hair needs to be seen too.

That's nice but I would put more detail into the face and head area, similar to the samples I gave for faces. Also make the face pic bigger.
