Name is Amerimine Resources. You can make Amerimine the focus if you want.

Key words to think about are,

Amerimine, pronounced Ameri mine.

Possible letter combinations: AR, AMR

This is a mining company that also deals with Oil, Gold, Silver and many other resources.

here are several ideas (all images displayed in one image), well actually several versions of basically the same idea.
Drew them in flash.
Edited in corel photopaint.
The one with crystals might be considered most suitable.
If you would like to see any modifications done please specify and I will do it.
If you think this is totally the wrong direction please state that so I can work on other ideas.

I think I can do something good with the crystals. Maybe have crystals coming out of the earth or something.
I know the images I posted look a little crap but its just an idea which I can take further if you like.

def1, I do not think that is going to work. I would try some different ones. Maybe try one using the word Amerimine instead of the AMR. Colors can always be changed not all that concerned with colors at this point. But it is nice to see. lol

Hello.....I have submitted a watermarked image for your consideration. I hope this graphic matches your 'vision'.

Please note, should you require it, the colors can easily be revised as can the fonts. The original of the image is rendered in a transparent Adobe PhotoShop format so that it will show well on any web site background's color or texture.

Rationale behind this design: The disc colors were to represent the gold and silver mining this company does.

It should be mentioned that this graphic would also translate well into printed work, such as business stationery and promotional materials. The cost of printing would be kept to a minimum due to the fact that the image is actually based on a two-color design...gold and black (the gray being a screen of the black).

Should the graphic be to your liking and you wish to purchase this design, I will send you the file in a transparent gif format (as well as other formats should you request it). As well, I will supply you a relinquishment of my intellectual property rights. I would happily take these steps once my PayPal account had been credited the $100 USD.

So, you want your logo to look like all the other ones out there? I thought a logo was meant to be different and to be a memorable symbol of the company. An instantly recognisable symbol is a pickaxe, :imho:

But, if it's what you want ... My logo is pretty flexible in that I can put lots of different symbols in place of the axe. I'll try some out and I also have some other changes I wish to make to my latest entry! Any feedback on it as it is now, though?

It was just that you said that none of the other companies out there used a pickaxe so you didn't think you should. Must have mis-interpreted your statement, apologies there, no hard feelings?

Anyway, here is my revised entry!

Amerimine Resources Logo, #4:

All custom made and in vector. If chosen, supplied in .jpg, .gif, .eps and .ai formats. I will try it with some different symbols later on, probably.

Any feedback on this? Also, 170 has a good idea, go through all the entries so far 1 by 1 and give feedback on them (or get feedback from the "gentleman" and relay that to us). Thanks again, and I hope you like the entry!
