£100 logo contest

I need a vector logo for a site im making, the site is going to be like a help resources and downloads site covering loads of differnt things like computers, job seeking , webdesign, relationships etc etc. The logo will have to have the text "HelpAtHand" and ill leave it up to you for image and any other text. I will end the contest once i see an entry i really like and payment will be via paypal. Sumbit entrys here or via pm.

Firstly, I feel it is you who is the "bender" around here. I could see this happening from the very start. I was considering fully watermarking my entries, but I thought, "No, lets give this guy a chance". Seems I was wrong. In future, I am going to watermark all my entries.

This was a nice contest, but heck, you messed it up. Bad luck with the scam and I am sure it will all go wrong for you - I, for one, hope it does.

Oh, and I'm sure you'll have fun when you resize my entry. When you just copy it, it will not be vector, dumb*ss. You can already see in your post with Jam's entry above it that is is losing quality

Well I guess I was just too confident and too trusting.. but anyway this serves a lesson for me and all of us to always use watermark samples and make them very low res before posting..

This individual however won't get far because he has no talent and this just shows what type of person he is and where he's heading in life. However, since we can't get to him, let's wish him the best but if anyone of you can get a hold of him...REALLY do wish him the best if you get where I'm coming from.

I got these thoughts after being victimize by this scammer ..

I think it will also help us decide to join a contest if we first check profile of the user that includes his age, trader rating etc..

Like this kid he is only 15, how on earth can he afford to pay £100 (~$125) ? ridiculous!

I hope there is a way in the internet where the buyer is required to post real name and maybe address or sort of credentials before soliciting entries..

Because I realize that even if we watermark our images they can anytime copy or redo it in photoshop or corel draw etc..
