$1.00 .com transfers at Rebel.com (Limit of 3)

I just logged onto Rebel.com and see that they are having a $1.00 .com transfer with a limit of 3 per person. I just processed 3 from my portfolio. It does not say how long the offer is good for.

Just noticed that Rebel started domain transfer @ 3.99 USD (+ 0.20 USD ICANN Fee). Don't know whether it's applicable to old customers who already used transfer @ 1.00 USD (>3 domains) or not.

Doesn't need any code.

I think dealing with PayPal fraud is somehow much more complex than Credit Cards. That may be the reason they didn't launch other payment types. For suspicious credit card transactions they ask for manual signed verification form.

or to get the max 5 does it have to be all the same transaction?

They use some abnormal 3rd-party processing for CC-transactions... and my Ukrainian card doesn't work at all there... but smoothly works with tens of other registrars... I have such CC-issue only with Rebel and AIT. And both don't provide PayPal.

Per my experience with Rebel, they actually have an automatic fraud system preventing credit card transactions under some circumstances. i.e. they check IP history, Card issuing country and full name history records. The system may not be accurate enough so that's why you may face difficulties. But feel free to sign the SVF form (https : // www . rebel . com/forms/SVF.pdf) and send back to them, they process your account very fast (less than an hour)

Thanks for jumping in Winterborn. A few things to add.

1. We will be supporting PayPal in the upcoming months. Its currently going through a Quality Assurance phase. Hold Tight. We hear you loud and clear!

2. Our payment processor's credit card conversion if very high if you're using a Canadian or American issues credit card. However, it doesn't do so great with international cards. We are looking at alternatives to alleviate this and will also be launching PayPal soon!

3. If Privacy is stopping you from becoming a rebel, let me know. I'll hook you up with someone who can find the right solution for you.
