Hey,

I'm trying to think of new ways to advertise my text messaging script, the only way I'm doing it at the moment is just by forums. At the moment I have nothing to spend on advertising so only free avenues will be a possibility.

Try starting a blog about the script, then promote the blog using SEO techniques such as backlinking, keywords, etc.

You can also use blogs, writting articles with the links=))) The last one is more interesting than forums, I think....

I think that article marketing is a good way of promoting your site. This will also give you some ok backlinks.

Also, why not do some SEO so that you can get more organic traffic.

YOu can try submitting to Script sites. Make arrangements with other webmasters to offer their visitors (newsletter subscribers) the script at a special discounted rate...

Forums is the best way.. costs bugger all, just your time. Get an army of friends and colleagues posting for you and you will benefit quicker.

Any and every script for sale should be submitted to ALL the script selling sites, not just HotScripts.com. There are dozens of these sites and they will all help. Make that a priority.

Then the usual Adwords, text links, blog posts, video submission, etc.
