sales I fumbled a domain sale every way possible

I'm not going to reveal the domain, but it's a 5L .com on Atom premium that was listed for $5k. It was on sale for $4750 and I received an offer through Atom broker for $4000. I haven't had a sale in over 6 months (I average 1 every 50 days), and it was close to the asking price so I figured why...

Share Your Experience with Afternic Self-brokerage

It's been almost two months since Afternic introduced self-brokerage and locked it behind a $240/year paywall. Some people already have subscriptions to DDC prior to this development. Others might have gotten the subscription solely because of this development. Either way, feel free to share...

discuss I was desperate for a sale… so I INCREASED my prices.

Most domainers, when sales slow down, instinctively lower their prices. Bills come in, renewals pile up, and slashing BINs feels like the only option. I’ve done it myself. But recently, I tried something different—and it worked. I just had WatermelonAI.com listed for $1,999. Got an inbound...

    How to successfully outbound?

Well, I know the strategy of outbounding is one that already gives the client the upper hand in negotiations — that is, if they end up being interested in the domain. On top of that, outbounding itself is a tough strategy, where out of hundreds or sometimes thousands, you end up with actual...

question What is the incentive for private sellers to report their sales to Namebio?

Pretty much the title. Why would a non-aftermarket seller take the time to report their sales to @NameBio when there is seemingly no benefit of doing so? NameBio does not publicize the private seller (i.e. "Private"), so there is no marketing benefit or bragging rights.
