Hi :)

If our domains are not registered at fabulous, can we still park there?
Because I couldnot find "park" button in fabulous...

Also, does afternic even pay us if we park our domains there? Because I park dozens of domain but not even a single click on ad? Weird...

Even 5s.com which receives 1,100 uniques per month. I didnot even get 10 cent from it??

Umm..back to the point..can anyone tell me about the fabulous...

Thanks ^^

Yes, I have domains registered at enom and parked with fabulous.

You just need to change your nameservers to fabulous's nameservers ns1 and ns2 .

Just login and go to "Import Domains" in the right hand column menu.

They also have a PHP script you can use if you want to host it yourself, but I've found that changing the nameservers to fabulous works better.

Your application must be approved before you can use the parking service in your user panel. 100 Domains minimum to qualify. They would go lower on the minimum depending on the quality of your domains. Fabulous is great, I highly recommend them. You could check out my site for some examples :)

Yep, but they do make exceptions depending on your portfolio

Hi, .edu

You share a lot on fabulous! I read all your postings on the net before I decide to move a couple hundreds sample names to fabulous...

Do you think I should do optimizing myself or let them do it for me? Actually not clear: they even state if I chouse to let them do it, they offer 75% - is it so? And how long it takes them to fine-tune the domains.

Well, a lot of other questions but those are basic today.

Can you tell something from your experience?

Valery,
I prefer to categorize my own domains, although the Fabulous service is free and is said to yield a higher return, I think that my 300+ portfolio is doing quite well with my own optimization... the reps don't always know the best category to place your domain- becasue they simply may never know the traget market that you are aiming at with that particular domain...

best of luck to you...

Hi Richie,

Well, you are reading my thoughts...

Btw, do you think the results from fab. automated domain valuation tool are worth attention?

Fabulous uses its own "methodology" in vaulating domain value... It should be taken to seriously, and it shouldn't be totally ruled out either... Using it as a guide for the most part can be helpful...

I find that the DNA model used here at NP the best of the lot as far as automated systems go.. check it out you'll be surprised...

Hi Richie,

I move our thread on automated apprisal tools to (www.namepros.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=27208)

5 minutes ago I agree with one of fabulous managers to let them optimise domains for me. The arguments was good enough to believe.

We'll see the results. And I can downgrade anytime anyway :)

Hi hadisentosa,

Hope that this slightly off-topic discusion helps to see some aspects of "fabulous in action" ;)

This is to unswer your questions:

The control panels are very easy to use. You have almost total

control of the way your site will look.

If you want to see more on fabulous setup, visit this link:

Also can recommend an article by Ron Jackson:

(The name of the article: Domain Name Journal - Tough Name to

Live Up To: Is An AustralianRegistrar's Claim to Be Fabulous

Fact or Fiction?)

Hope it helps a bit :)

Thanks guys for the help :)

Hmm it seems that my control panel is different, probably because mine is just the normal one.

I sent an email to fabulous.com hopefully they will approve my application.

Have a nice weekend all ^^
