I'm curious as to what people consider a good Google PR number? for example is a typo of a Google PR6 site good? is a Google PR 4 domain good? etc.. what do you consider good as far as the Google PR numbers go?

PR 5 is good, then the gap between each PR is a lot so a PR 6 will be hard to achieve (well done namepros.com lol) and the PR 7 is another massive jump etc. I feel that PR 5+ is good

So is a very easy typo of a Google PR6 domain worth something? If so, how much in your opinion?

Typos of a PR domain have no value based on that fact alone.

I agree PR5 is the startof a "good" PR.

The PR doesn't say much (if anything at all...) of the traffic that domain receives, so to tell the typo value of a PR 6 domain is not possible...

PR 5 is ok.
PR increases in factors of 10 (aprox), so a PR 6 is 10 times "harder" to get than a PR 5, and so on....
(or you could just get one good PR 7 backlink.. )

Basing the value of a domain on PR alone is useless IMO, since PR can be manipulated and it dosen't say much about how the domain/site ranks in Google anyway..

I would take 100 PR 1-2 backlinks with good anchor text over one PR 8 backlink anyday.. :)

Anything above pr3 is considered decent

i don't think choosing typos just with PR is any good

The PR scale is exponential I think (i.e. pr6 is 10 times more important than pr5 and 10 times harder to achieve).

But nowadays when PR values fluctuate a lot, I tend to believe it has lost in relevance and credibility... then again, that might just be me

pr means page rank, it is a measurement by google. its on a scale of 10, with 10 being the highest. i would say PR 4 + is good

Agreed w/ Bill and others .... PR6 Is the hardest leap to achieve and sustain - I start it there ~ But it isn't a Great Determining factor on Traffic - You can have a PR7+ Site on the "Horse Radish" but how much Traffic can you get and Sustain for Horse Radish's ? - lol - Strange Example but you see where I'm coming from ... Hmmm .... HORSERADISH.BIZ is Available - lol

I think it depends on the way you want to look at it. PR 5 isn't all that hard to get as a domain/site owner but PR 6 is quite hard. However average/good sites with decent information would probably have at least something like PR 3,4+.

ya, pr doesnt always equal traffic or a successful site

I pay almost no attention to page rank anymore and think its value is exagerrated. Have never seen any obvious variations in my traffic with their ever changing PR. In fact, it appears my traffic stays about the same even if I have a good PR this month and next month its is zero, or vice versa.
