The LLLL.com sales and discussion thread

Hello, I think it would be pretty useful to keep track of all LLLL.com sales , even the little ones under $100 so that , pretty soon , when the available LLLL.com will be finished , we`ll have a better idea on market prices.

It is important that these sales are confirmed. So before to post, make sure payment went OK.

I will start with todays` Sedo confirmed sales:

FISE.com 2,700 Euros
TSRT.com US $760
VEUP.com US $1,700

Also, I found interesting to see this average LLLL, getting bids up to $51 and reserve not me. It says it all.

I would suggest you to have a look at Sedo, DIBE.com is ending in 9 hours and it`s still at $1,050 while my poor NUQE.com ending in 2 days and some hours is still at just $350

price seems high, but it is a very sexy CVCV.

I think "premium" (high-frequency initial) letters are relevant only when looking at acronym potential in a given language.

'V' is primo in terms of pronounceablility for a brandable ... And "vova" has a wonderful feel to it. I could go into some more detailed analysis, but that would be best done in the "evaluation" thread.

You would have to be prepared to hold your acquisition for as long as it takes until an end-user is ready to make it worth your while to part with it. Take a look at the CVCV that BuyDomains is offering, and see what prices they are asking for comparable names. What else could you (or an end user) buy for 4500 ... But really, the question is - what could be bought for 20,000 - because that is presumably close to your "ROI parity" with expected returns from other options you could invest the 4500 in ...

Ob price: sold VQQP @ 50.04 on eBay tonight ... and will soon post list of auctions I put bids in (but once again did not win any)

Yeah, their pretty good. I like the Buy It Now button (a little too much.) Their domains are a bit pricey though. I looked for several hours and couldn't find a good VCVC without a Y for less than $1,000. So, I just settled for some that I could at least pronounce pretty easily.

4,500 is quite, high, though judging by your name I guess you know it's a really popular Russian name

I wouldn't pay so much, but it actually has a potential for a Russian speaking end user, it will definitely be worth 10k+ someday...

vova is a short name of vladimir (my name)
it is not official one (i.e. you never will see this name in the passport or driving license), thus the value is less than than i.e. vlad or vladimir. on another hand, it is short.

It is close to "viva", also the "vo" prefix is usually associated with "voice"-- good for VoIP applications.

For short, it is highly brandable. Too bad the seller is strict on price, try to offer something close to asking price...

I think it will be sold at tdnam for $300-$500. In order to reach x,xxx it shall go to sedo. Currently it is at $230.

More interesting is yoge, currently it stays at $2,005. I doubt it will go any further.

ULAQ.com went for 212$ a minute ago on Sedo, I was actually the first bidder to send it to auction, just remembered about it, rushed to Sedo and it had 3 minutes left! That's close

Didn't make a bid though, 212$ is high enough...

oieo.com is a definite buy for me. will bid on this one for sure! VVVV.com is definitely a collectable ... brings me back to the days of collecting comics, baseball cards, hockey cards ... except i'm older now but collecting domains.
