The .PRO Discussion

InvisionTech · Sep 17, 2008

It seems .PRO is slowly coming out of the cage with cheaper reg prices than they were a year ago and major registrars like netsol taking notice of the extension and promoting it.

Here are some that I picked up in last couple of days:

Alexandria.pro

Anchorage.pro

Arlington.pro

Belfast.pro

Birmingham.pro

Budapest.pro

Durham.pro

Fairfax.pro

Italian.pro

Lisbon.pro

Fire away with your regs after the relaunch on September 8th, 2008.

GO.PRO was sold for $40K on GoDaddy-auction in Feb'2012.

I am wondering why it isn't used by GoPro, Inc.

WHOIS shows some investor from Hollywood...

Still undeveloped. Very costly purchase if you aren't going to use it.

I think the owner is simply waiting for the right offer of the mentioned company - it's the PERFECT domain for them, this domain would be x times better than their current .com domain in my opinion.

WiFi.PRO (2005) - solid Spanish enduser...
Also you may see their clients there...

Hi guys. I'm selling Dogs.Pro If anyone is interested. It was a large project that never materialized.

brandnow · Apr 5, 2016

I got one premium keyword.pro (hand reg for dropped name from two years ago) that I will soon develop into a personal site.

Jurgen Wolf · Apr 5, 2016

post.pro has been sold recently on Sedo but price is unpublished.

Jurgen Wolf · Apr 5, 2016

xtra.pro - enduser from Israel...

brandnow · Apr 6, 2016

Jurgen Wolf · Apr 7, 2016

"pro" in Ukrainian and Russian also means "about"...

brandnow · Apr 7, 2016

Didn't know that! It helps!

Jurgen Wolf · Apr 7, 2016

My current stats from the beginning of 2016 via Bodis-form:
4 bidders on 4 .PROs
(2 from Ukraine, 2 - Russia)

6 weeks - the same...
So ~357K at now without GoDaddy...

Kate · Apr 7, 2016

The growth has been impressive lately, but I wonder how many were NOT purchased by speculators but real end users ?

Fancy.domains · Apr 8, 2016

Fixer.pro just got available, if anyone is interested...
