It happened on 23rd Aug 2022 and this matter lasted almost one month without any process. Masterbucks.com declined my fund withdrawal and disabled the button of fund withdrawal. And I contacted Epik.com and got no further action even if Rob Monster got involved in it for two weeks. All the time I was told in email by management review.

What is wrong with Epik.com? Do you think it is normal to disable fund withdrawal? How can I get back my fund from Epik.com? Thanks for your suggestion.

Hey "new" @epik, let's talk about "forever" domains?

Are you planning to honor these, or are they considered "old" Epik.com liabilities where you intend to leave customers holding the bag, like with Masterbucks.

How would they know rob is not involved in any way if he's hiding behind a service like, randomly popping to mind, registered agents?

Can't make this stuff up.

Some big boy journos reached out to me today. Doing a big story on the Epik trash fire. Their focus is bringing justice down on Rob Monster for his many financial crimes and putting LE in position where they have to act on him, which would be great!

They also claim to know who the owners of Registered Agent is, but not owners of Epik, LLC. I asked but they wouldn't tell me, wouldn't even give me a hint. I, of course, wouldn't tell them my best guess for new owners of Epik, LLC but their story is suppose to drop in the next week or so.

Rob Monster is going to be prosecuted for his crimes or attorney general(s), FBi agents and co-conspirators are going to regret

From the article:

"Regardless, it seems that after half a year of mystery, the speculation may very well come to an end soon."

I can't believe this bullshit has gone on this long.

https://domainincite.com/29438-epik-reveals-who-is-running-the-company

They are: JM Spear (identified as president) Jon Garrison (treasurer) and Bryce Myrvang (secretary), according to a recently published page on the company’s web site, which also names Registered Agents Inc as the parent company.

The three men hold the same positions at Registered Agents, according to that company’s web site.

I am still not convinced that this company is the actual beneficial owner of Epik.

Out of all the companies on Earth, what are the odds that the buyer would a be a company that specializes in incorporation services.

This would include creating new entities to shift assets around on paper and keep the beneficial owner private.

It seems like the (3) named parties have limited or no experience in the domain field. I don't believe they would be capable of operating a registrar without the help and guidance of people with experience in the field.

I would like confirmation from @epik that Rob Monster and Brian Royce have no relationship with Epik whatsoever. That means shareholder, management, employee, consultant, etc.

Also, @epik how do you explain your recent unhinged behavior on X (Twitter)?

Pretty good. CSC Corporate Domains is the in-house registrar for the largest incorporation service in the country, and has become somewhere around the 30th largest registrar with 1.7M DUM. Providing a package of corporate registration, Tax ID, and domain name registration seems like a natural, as does charging a premium for annual maintenance filings.

John. We maintain about twice the business entities that CSC does. And if you look at public records. We file anywhere between 4-8 times the new filings that CSC does. They are an overpriced dinosaur.

It will take a long long time as Epiks name is trash. But our name stands for quality and reliability in the business entity space. At some point we will have considerably more domains under management than CSC does. We just need time and many years of treating people right. Which we work on every day. We don't care about the short term. We care what things look like 40-50 years down the road. Our customer base isn't domainers although we hope we can offer a cheap way to maintain domainers domains and we'll try to fix the tools that customers were used to and improve upon them, but it just won't be our main focus.

There's no Rob Monster here... that's small boy stuff... small weird games catering to weird stuff. All the posters here were right about the warnings about him.

As of today, you can sign up on our sites for an LLC, you get an address, a phone number + ios or android app, mail scanned to you, hosted email, domain, and instant wordpress hosting. We own our own data centers. We onboard customers in 10 minutes. Their full business identity stood up in 10 minutes. It's a game changer. That's our focus. Surely you as an attorney see the benefit to help your customers incorporate and get their entire business stood up and online in 10 min or less.

Imo they are a front for the real buyer. If they were the owners they would have handled things much differently to repair the reputation damage of the Epik name even rebranding to a new name.

They would scream from the rooftop they are not associated with previous owners. Instead they have been and remain cloaked In secrecy. We will probably never know for sure either way.

Well, your behavior on X (Twitter) recently is not going to help the "trash" brand.

Kicking KiwiFarms is one thing, but the unprofessional behavior was quite another.

Care to explain what happened there?

Also, do you care to explain how Epik was socially engineered into a customer's domain being stolen.

The registrant did not receive any unlock or transfer notification. The domain just left his account without any notice.

What changes were made to prevent it from happening again?

We got championshiprings.com back for Dan Cera. Godaddy was instrumental in helping us and we owe the credit to them.

Because of that instance we found that there was weird admin user settings for the old owner to do weird crap as you could imagine...

Since then, we will not push a domain on the admin side. We also have fixed the admin permissions to where it's physically impossible.

We're not sure what happened on Twitter. The timing was also weird as it happened right before the ICANN final approval. We have since locked down permissions on Twitter and set up two factor for the login. As you have figured out. PR and posting on forums and social media is not our specialty. We're much more focused on the product and the development and the customer service and operations.

We have many people with decades and decades of domain registrar experience working here already. They just don't want to go public to you all quite yet. We've made hundreds and hundreds of code fixes and the product gets a little better every day.

In the last 6 months we think you'd struggle to find someone that has been financially screwed by us. That's probably your biggest evidence that Rob Monster is no longer involved here.

You'll have to find something else to complain about. You don't have any forever domains registered with us. and Epik hasn't sold forever domains for over a year. And there are no forever domain customers complaining. They are being serviced.

Oh, I can imagine.

I know domains can be moved internally without any notice, because it happened to me on PianoMoving.com.

The domain was moved internally by Epik and all references to the purchase and transfer were removed.

How do you not know what happened on Twitter?

Is that account not representing Epik LLC aka Epik.com?

Are you going with the "we were hacked" excuse?

I am old enough to remember when you heaped praised on Rob Monster on this forum, in a press release, and in DM to me.

What changed?

"Forever" domains never made financial sense as a registrant, so of course I don't have any.

The fact I don't have any is irrelevant to others who paid for the service.

A simple answer like -

"Yes, we plan to honor these forever domains" will do.

I am not sure why you would decide to keep the "Epik" brand. All Epik is known for is bad things - data breach, fraud, conspiracy theories, Rob Monster, extreme websites, etc.

Definition of mindfulness. And the we dont care sounds like my X, formerly known as girlfriend.
You better care and today.
Today is the word of the day.

We're not sure what happened on Twitter.
There are literally dozens of potential sources of information you could use to find out which mouth-breathing lunatic was making those posts, even if your entire SIEM system is a flaming dumpster. Which means you don't want to know. Perhaps because the person is a 'protected class' (aka can get away with anything), or perhaps it's just the boss's nephew or someone too rich to follow rules.

Seeing as how Mr. Moon not only met but (at the time of this writing) has doubled his fundraiser goal for a lawsuit...perhaps it would be in your best interest to find out whodunit.

I don't know who you are. Do not refer to me by my first name. What kind of people raised you with manners like that.

We're not sure what happened on Twitter. The timing was also weird as it happened right before the ICANN final approval.

Bullshit. ICANN doesn't control your Twitter account, nor has it controlled the operations of "New Epik" for months. Whomever you are, you are still a liar.

ICANN has nothing to do with our twitter account or our operation. Sorry to offend you Mr Berryhill Ph.d., Esq.

We do not think we were hacked. We have since changed the Twitter password and enabled two factor authentication.

We have roughly 10 employees on the domain product that is relative to domainers, but like you all have mentioned it's not a great offering as of today. We do have basically at cost domains. So .25 over cost on all 580 extensions. So it's cheap. But the product isn't as good as Godaddy, Dynadot, Namecheap, Sav, or Namesilo. We are actively trying to make the products domainers used to love at Epik work well again or better than they used to, but our primary focus is on retail users.
